Our Activities
Our Activities
At Sunny View Nursing Home, we believe that quality of life is every bit as important as the quality of care. Residents are encouraged to participate in a variety of activities specifically designed to give a feeling of success, and in turn, to maintain their social, perceptual, and physical skills by providing a fun, understanding, loving & caring atmosphere.
The Activities Department offers a number of recreational activities each day to keep each person socially involved and entertained. Activities include, but are not limited to:

Wheel of Fortune & Jeopardy
Pizza Parties
Wine and Cheese Parties
Football Sunday
Bus outings to various destinations in Rhode Island (Restaurants, Shopping Centers)
Group discussions about current events, enjoyed on the patio during the Spring or Summer.
Throughout the year Sunny View holds memorable special events and theme parties such as:
St. Patty’s Day Luncheon
4th of July Summer Party
Veterans Day Luncheon
Cinco De Mayo Celebration
Halloween
Family and Friends Christmas Party
