Beauty / Barber Shop Services

Qualified beauticians and barbers visit the facility regularly. Contact the Charge Nurse or Activities Director if you wish to set up an appointment.

Mail, Magazines, Newspapers, Packages

Packages, magazines, and periodicals are delivered as received by the facility. A subscription for the daily newspaper can be arranged through the office.

Podiatry Services

A Podiatrist visits Sunny View regularly. The Podiatrist will perform services such as nail trimming. The podiatrist will bill Medicare or the responsible party, whichever is applicable.

EquIPMENT

When needed continuously and exclusively for a Resident, special equipment and appliances such as wheelchairs, crutches, walkers, braces, etc. may be rented or purchased.

Resident Council Meetings

The Resident Council offers recommendations which affect daily living. Everyone is encouraged to participate and all ideas / comments are reviewed at frequent meetings.

Social
services

Upon admission each Resident or responsible person will be given a questionnaire relating to the life experiences of the Resident. Information concerning marital status, number of children, occupation, hobbies, interests, etc.

Our Business Office is open from 9:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M. The Business Office telephone number is (401) 737 – 9193 . Many rooms are pre-wired for private telephone service.

Beauty / Barber Services are billed directly to the Resident by the beautician or barber.

Delivery of mail is a routine daily service. Packages, magazines, and periodicals are delivered as received by the facility. A subscription for the daily newspaper can be arranged through the office. The newspaper distributor will bill the responsible person directly.

Residents are free to send and receive mail. Should a Resident require stamps, envelopes, or stationery, please do not hesitate to contact the Activities Director or the Business Office.
